Criteria for AIHC Affiliate Conference Designation
  • Alignment with AIHC Mission and Vision:  The conference's mission and goals should be in alignment with the mission and vision of the American Interprofessional Health Collaborative (AIHC). This includes fostering a community dedicated to advancing interprofessional education and collaborative practice to enhance health outcomes and promote health equity.
  • Advancement of Interprofessional Education and Collaborative Practice: The conference should demonstrate a commitment to advancing interprofessional education and collaborative practice. This involves promoting partnerships between healthcare professionals, educators, and practitioners to improve health outcomes and address health disparities.
  • Peer Review Process for Presentations: The conference should have a rigorous peer review process for selecting presentations, such as papers, posters, and workshops. This ensures the quality, relevance, and credibility of the content presented at the conference.
  • Opportunity for AIHC Membership Engagement: The conference should provide meaningful opportunities for engaging and recruiting new members to the American Interprofessional Health Collaborative (AIHC). This could include showcasing AIHC's initiatives, offering networking opportunities, or providing information about membership benefits.
  • Representation of AIHC Members in Planning Committee: It is essential that one or more individuals on the conference planning committee are active members of AIHC.
